Irony invents a new game! XD

2003-12-17 - 4:58 p.m.

The game is called "First Impressions".

You sit on the outside of your local mall (retail businesses work best, since they have a myriad of different kinds of people milling out of them, but you can also play it at schools, or on a crowded, busy street.), and watch who passes in and out of it's doors. Then you only allow yourself to think of your very first impressions of these people.

Okay, maybe I wasn't the first person to invent this game.

Keep in mind, the rules of the game are not for the faint of heart, nor the politically correct. You have to allow yourself complete honesty, even if that means thinking that the person that just walked by you is an obvious crack ho.

Now, keep in mind, you ALWAYS play this game by yourself. Exceptions to the rule are when you're in a secluded area with a friend (say, a bullet-proof armored truck) where you can play this game, AND say your assumptions out loud. People can't clobber you when you're protected under bullet-proof glass, yano? ;)

I played that today outside the mall while waiting on my Mom to drive up. It's terribly fun. ;)

*giggles*

Now before you start on me for "snap judgements", do me a favor and shut up. Snap judgements are just snap judgements when you use them against people. I do not advocate using any observations you make against people, this game is just for fun. ;)

And if you don't believe that, then feel free to flame me. I'll be glad to give you my first impression of you too. ;)

;þ~ Lighten up, people.

I'm gonna go now... bye bye.
